Grand Slam Winners

The dominance of the Big Three in men’s tennis over the past 15 years means that you may be forgiven for knowing little about the other top players of the era.

These ‘other’ Grand Slam winners spent their entire careers trying to battle past not one but three all-time greats as they tried to progress in tournaments.

Between Marat Safin’s Australian Open triumph in 2005, and Dominic Thiem’s US Open win in 2020, there were 61 Grand Slam tournaments played. These are the only players outside the big three to win one.

Although no longer top-10 regulars, their class has been proven and when fit they remain a threat to any opponent and tournament.
