Mavericks

Like all sports tennis has its fair share of mavericks. Players with personalities and abilities so big that they can work together in perfect harmony, or clash and destroy one another.

The balance between brilliance and bonkers can be a fine one, and these players walk that tightrope every time they go on court – and so do their opponents.

On a good day they can dazzle even the greatest of foes, but if the stars aren’t aligned just right, then on-court disaster is never far away.
